добредојде

Emily Kordovich is a director of photography based in Brooklyn, NY.

Many of the projects Emily has lensed are women’s stories, queer stories, immigrant stories, and stories with heart, humanity, and intention. Emily considers themselves an emotional translator of each project, merging the technical and creative to bring stories authentically to life. Their goal is to craft images that make people feel something, all while making the day, and having a great time doing it.

Emily was accepted into the ASC Vision Mentorship Program in 2023, and received the 2024 Fresh Perspectives in Cinematography Grant presented by AbelCine, Arri, and The ASC for the short film, Remnants Of Nova

Emily recently completed principal photography on their first feature film, Ice Cream (dir. Liza Renzulli), and has otherwise been the DoP for 23 short films and counting.

Their true passion lies in narrative filmmaking, but they have worked on commercial and branded content projects with clients such as OneSkin, MAC Cosmetics, Architectural Digest, Google, La Mer, Victoria’s Secret, The Zoe Report, Food & Wine, NYLON, Punch, Vox Media, Metropolis Report, NOTION, Bustle, Martha Stewart Living, and more.

Emily grew up a first-generation Macedonian immigrant in a small town outside Rochester, NY (which means they are also a born and raised Buffalo Bills fan. Go Bills.) Now based in Brooklyn, they live with their partner Spencer, and their two cats, Appa and Naro.
