1. Noun. A morbid aversion to happiness.

Cherophobia was the first film I formally directed, wrote, and shot with a big crew, paid actors, and a commissioned soundtrack. All within a timeline of eight weeks.

I learned a lot creating this film, and although I know it’s shortcomings, I hope other people can have fun watching it.

Being the writer, director, and director of photography can be tricky. I needed to communicate my vision to the camera operator, production designer/art director, gaffer, producer, and the rest of the crew. This film’s look book was simple and very general, just a mood board and a simple color palette.
